About Mobizo

Mobizo is a smartphone marketplace built for Sri Lanka. It connects people buying and selling phones directly — think of it as a focused, phone-only classifieds board with modern tools layered on top: an interactive map, AI-assisted listings, and search that actually understands what you're looking for.

What Mobizo is not

Mobizo is not an e-commerce store. There is no checkout, no payment processing, and no escrow. Sellers post a listing; buyers get in touch and arrange the sale themselves. We built it this way deliberately — it keeps the platform simple and puts the actual transaction where it belongs, between the two people involved.

What's under the hood

• Google Sign-In — no new passwords to create or remember.
• AI-assisted listings — generate a description or get a resale price estimate for a phone from its specs, powered by Deepseek.
• A real map, not a pin on a static image — browse listings by location using OpenStreetMap.
• Fast, fuzzy search across brand, model, specs, and location.

Revenue

Mobizo is free to use for buyers and sellers. The platform is supported by Google AdSense rather than fees or commissions on listings.
